Richard Blake in Bahasa

An Indonesian publisher has bought the translation rights to the works of Mr Blake, and will bring them out in Bahasa, which is one of the main languages in that country. I hope soon to have news of a Russian edition.

  1. That is actually something of a major cultural breakthrough.

I was mildly interested to learn a few years ago that Mr Blake’s work had been translated into Italian: but on reflection it was not particularly notable event since many English books are.

It was rather more notable that there appeared Slovak editions. And I think Hungarian too, but can’t recall.

But some place like Indonesia? He will be in Old Classical Upper-JipooPoolandese next.
