Come on, Will, that is a meaningless point. Though I reserve the right to do so, I have no wish to get on a tram and make unkind remarks about black people. The real point is that Miss West is being persecuted for stating her opinions to the best of her ability, and the rest of us have an obligation to do what little we can to provide moral support for her right to do this, and to denounce her oppressors.
Interesting to compare this to the case of Kerry Howle, who has just been sentenced to six (i.e. three) years for a two-hour assault on a fifteen-year-old boy where, among other things, she smashed a glass ashtray on his head and made him drink his own urine. The crime was commited in August of this year, while Emma West is still awaiting a decision by the authorities on what they’ll do about the “crime” she commited nearly a year ago.

No, the meaning remains what I pointed out before. You think the elite wish to enslave us all. The elite know what they’re doing: hugely inefficient in other ways, they are experts in totalitarianism (in fact, their inefficiency in other ways — New Labour’s “mistakes” over immigration — are part of their totalitarian expertise). They are currently targeting the Emma Wests and EDLs of the UK. You and other articulate, well-educated, middle-class libertarians condemn this, but do nothing to stop it. Nothing. And by the time they’ve crushed the Emma Wests and EDLs, there will be nothing you can do. If you were in the slightest bit effective in retarding the enslavement project, the elite would be coming after you now.
Not I think you and the L.A. are “educated” in any serious sense. If you were, you’d understand why the enslavement project exists and the historical/hysterical forces behind it.
A very wise observation, Will. A certain group declared war on our society a long while back, and they continue to run rings round us and destroy everything we hold dear. While they’re doing this, the ‘clever’ ones among us witter on endlessly about anything and everything and steadfastly avoid addressing the glaringly obvious.
And what have the EDL managed to accomplish apart from getting harrassed and battered by coppers and targeted by leftist scum who are much better organised?.
At the moment the EDL are nowhere because leftist shite have been working away behind the scenes for decades. Street demos will not bring down shite who have wormed into just about anywhere with the slightest connection with power.
