   But there’s nothing actually incorrect about Thomas the Tank Engine, in a political sense or otherwise. We kick ourselves every time we acknowledge such idiotic commentary. The author claims the programme is bad because the trains have to work, so what is she saying, nobody ought to have to work? She’d be hunting wildcats and the like in the Canadian forests if nobody worked. As bigoted and biased as anything you’ll ever hear, her thesis.
