I think that was a bike race in Mexico last year sometime. At least that’s when the papers here carried it. The driver was pissed and asleep, and if I recall correctly there were fatalities. I don’t usually come down on the side of the lycra louts but on this occasion my sympathies are entirely with them – the driver is a complete twat who should be flogged with his own genitals.
Fair enough, if it was a real incident and he killed somebody.
But I’m sure people understand the frustrated irritation felt here, by essentially terrified and law-abiding motorists, when faced with phalanxes of oddly-dressed, wiry, middle-aged males in pervert-outfits, two or more abreast, going too fast to overtake safely but too slowly to drive behind.
